Wisconsin to shock the candidates of Supreme Court

Madison, Vis. , Candidates in a race who will determine the ideological control of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, will be closed in their only scheduled debate before the April 1 election.

The competition, which has attracted the attention of the President’s advisor Elon Musk, will be a litmus test during the tenure of President Donald Trump, a chief president of President Donald Trump. The control of the court is on the line as it faces cases on abortion and reproductive rights, strength of public sector unions, voting rules and Congress district borders.

Against Dan County Circuit Judge Susan Crawford, Republican Attorney General, a former Republican Attorney General Wukesh County Circuit Judge Brad Shimel, who is supported by Democrats and is running in her first statewide race.

Here is a look at some major issues:

Crawford is supported by employed paternity and represented a group in a pair of cases related to abortion when he was a lawyer in private practice. She supports the rights of abortion and said that the US Supreme Court was wrong to overturn Roe V Ved. Most of his campaigns against Shimel have focused on their previous opposition to abortion, when he was the Attorney General.

Shimel, who is supported by anti-miscarriage groups, has said that he believes that 1849 state law is still “legitimate” to ban abortion and has no right to abortion under the constitution of the state. In a pending abortion case, the liberal majority were called “powered by their feelings” that the current Justice was also criticized by Crawford and the current Justice in the court.

Both candidates have repeatedly said that their personal views on abortion will not be affected how they will rule.

As a lawyer, Crawford filed a lawsuit in an attempt to reverse the state law, which effectively ended collective bargaining for public workers. This law, known as Act 10, was the focal point of the tenure of the former Republican village Scott Walker and made Wisconsin the center of national debate on the rights of the Sangh.

Last year, a Dan County judge ruled that the wholesale of the law was unconstitutional, and the appeal of that decision is expected to come to the Supreme Court of the state.

When Shimel Attorney General, he said he would defend Act 10 and oppose its sanctions, which were also applicable to police and fire fighter unions, who were exempted from law.

Crawford also filed a lawsuit to reverse the state’s voter ID law, but lost. A measure on the ballot of April 1 will ensure that law in the constitution of the state – made more difficult by Republican to undo.

Did Shimel enough as the Attorney General to clean the backlog of evidence of unwanted sexual harassment of the state, a central attack of Crawford and his colleagues.

Shimel took more than two years to test about 4,000 kits unpublished on the shelves of the police department and hospital. He has said that the State Justice Department needed time to invent kits and struggled to find private laboratories to test them as laboratories were overwhelmed by unused kits from other states.

In 2014, the State Justice Department learned about 6,800 sexual harassment evidence kits that were not tested. Wisconsin approved its backlog of untred kit in 2019, one year after Shimel left the post.

Many television advertisements in the race have focused on specific matters, Crophered and Shimel handled as judges, both sides claim that the second offense is weak on the second crime.

Shimel previously served as the Wukesh County District Attorney and supported law enforcement officers, including state county sheriffs, visconsin Furrent Order of Police and Milwauki Police Association.

Crawford worked as an prosecutor for the Attorney General’s office under a Democrat and supported the Sheriff of Milwauki and Dane Counties, as well as dozens of judges around the state.

The winner will determine that the court is under majority control of liberal justice, as it has been from 2023, or would it return to conservative control because it was 15 years ago.

The race has been nationalized for groups funded by Kasturi, who have spent more than $ 8 million in support of Shimel. Crawford has also benefited from donations from major national democrats such as philanthropists George Soros and Illinois village JB Pritzkar, but have not coordinated with the expenses of Musk.

Donald Trump Junior and political activist Charlie Kirk on Monday planned to co-maintain a town hall in Wisconsin, which is being billed as a vote-out attempt for Shimel.
