WhatsApp is developing a new functionality that according to a new report, can provide more options to Android users to take video calls. The instant messaging platform is said to be asked to test a new option, which offers the option to close the camera of the device before taking a video call. The in-development WhatsApp feature was allegedly discovered after the APK tearing of the beta version of the app.
Close camera before video calls on WhatsApp
The feature was viewed by Android Authority after the APK of the WhatsApp beta app for the Android version 2.25.7.3. While this facility is not yet available to the public, the publishing app managed to activate it by tampering with the app. It is said that an option is offered Turn off your video When the receiver gets a video call, they are able to close the video before taking them.
