A federal judge on Wednesday made a reitweet in a retweet in a retweet with the lawyers of the Department of Justice, which is about disqualifying transgender soldiers from “without exemption”.
The US District Court Judge Ana Reyes, a biden appointment, earlier said that the idea of only two sexes is “biologically correct,” heard arguments on the attempt to ban transgender individuals of Pentagon from serving in the army as the Trans rights groups found a preliminary prohibition to stop the policy.
During the hearing, Rayes pointed to a post on X, in which Hegseth quoted, “Pentagon says transgender soldiers are disqualified from service without exemption.” A question related to a Fox News Digital article about an internal pentagon memorandum.
The memo revealed in a court at the end of last month says that the members of the American service who are transgender or otherwise displaying gender dysphoria are prohibited from military service until they get discounts.

When Rayes interrogated government lawyers that Hegseth’s repost appeared that all transgender soldiers would be disqualified from service, DOJ lawyer Jason Manian argued that Hegseth was using “shorthand” only for a comprehensive policy.
“Look at the words in the policy,” Manian said.
“No!” Rayes said. “Do you really think that you can do this, publicly say one thing and then come here to court and say something completely more?”
Reece then said that Manian had asked Hegaseth to make an announcement till Monday that he did not really mean all transgender people.

“His words are that it covers all the transgender people. I am not anticipating that he was just sloppy,” Reyes said about Hegseth.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on 27 January, which requires the Defense Department to update his guidance about “Trans-Promotion Medical Standards for Military Services” and “to save inconsistent guidance with military readiness”.
Government lawyers have argued that Trump and Hegseth have a widespread right to determine policies for national defense.
