Trump has not used Autopen for legally binding documents unlike biden, says White House

The White House states that President Donald Trump does not use an autopen to signed legally binding documents – Trump accused the former President Joe Biden of using mechanical equipment to sign such documents.

A White House official confirmed the Fox News Digital Tuesday that the official policy of the Trump administration took place during both their conditions. Each legally to use Trump’s hand signature on operational or binding documents.

Trump told reporters on one Sunday of the Air Force that when he uses an autopan for correspondence, it is shameful to use one while signing the forgiveness documents.

“We can use it, as an example, to send a letter to some young man because it is good,” Trump said. “You know, we get thousands and thousands of letters, letters of support for young people, from people who are not feeling well, etc.. But forgiveness and all the things they have signed with an autopan, they are derogatory.”

Trump also claimed on Sunday that the courts would have to decide whether an autopane is used for Biden’s executive orders and forgiveness, which means they are zero.

An autopane is an device that physically holds a pen and is programmed to repeat a person’s signature. The office of the legal lawyer of the Department of Justice determined in 2005 that the President is allowed to use an autopane to sign the bill in the law, and the US Court of Appeals issued a decision in February to stated that “the absence of a writing is not the same that a commutation was not there.”

The Circuit Court said in its opinion, “The constitutional text is silent that any particular Passing Act of the President should be effective.”

Trump raised using an autopane to sign the biden issue – which includes some MPs who served in the House Select Committee to check the capital riot on 6 January in a social media post on Sunday. Trump claimed in the post that forgiveness was “zero” and Biden accused him of not having knowledge of his signature.

“In other words, which Biden did not sign him, but even more importantly he knew nothing about him! The required forgiveness documents were not explained, or was approved by Boliden. He did not know anything about them, and those who committed the crime,” Trump said in his post.

A Biden spokesperson did not comment on the record to Fox News Digital.

On March 6, the oversight project with the Conservative Think-Tank The Heritage Foundation released a report claiming that it analyzed the biden documents, and found that most of the documents signed during their administration used an autopane.

“Our findings suggest that an autopane is widespread use to sign a pardon in the Biden Presidency,” said the oversight project said in a memo released on 17 March.

On Trump’s inauguration day, Biden signed apologies for retired General Mark Mile, former chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff.

Trump has historically participated against the Select Committee, and was charged in August 2023 for an attempt to reverse the 2020 election results ending in August 2023. However, special advocate Jack Smith left the case against Trump in Trump 2024 when Trump won the presidential election.
