President Donald Trump said on Thursday that he felt that the United States would have a possible attachment of Greenland.

Trump defended the idea, saying that the US needs a large -scale Arctic island – which is a region of Denmark – “for international security.”

The President’s comments came during a meeting at the White House with NATO General Secretary Mark Rute.

A reporter asked Trump, “What is your vision for Greenland’s potential anecdote.”

“I think it would,” Trump replied.

The President then turned to Rute and said that “we will talk to you” about the issue.

“This is actually a suitable question,” said the President.

Rute quickly said, “When it comes to Grenland, yes or no, I am joining America, I will leave it out, for me, discuss this, because I don’t want to direct NATO in it.”
