To restrict the use of ‘Autopen’ amid the line on ‘misuse’ of Trump Biden’s signature

To restrict the use of 'Autopen' amid the line on 'misuse' of Trump Biden's signature
Donald Trump will not use Autopen for his signature on official documents.

The signature of President Donald Trump through Autopen will not be available indiscriminately for any White House document, in view of a major controversy, the administration has decided that the employees misused Autopen to take advantage of their ‘cognitive decline’ to the former President Joe Biden’s signature. Autopen is a device that mimics a person’s signature but will control its use in Trump administration, the New York Post explained the inner sources.
“We do not use autopane even for more regular purposes, such as invitations of foreign leaders in the White House. The President personally signs all these in the presence of witnesses. We will sometimes use autopane when a single document requires several presidential signature, or when several copies of the same document are required to sign, but after being signed by the President personally and only under his direction, “an internal memo prepared by Trump Staff Secretary William Sharf said.
Reports suggest that Biden’s autopane can be used to sign major documents without a proper authority, which raises questions about whether the former President was fully aware of the documents approved under his name. Some biden colleagues have reportedly expressed concern that a prominent officer may be more in employing the device.
According to the memorandum by Scharf, the amended policy of the Trump administration restricts the use of autopane for any documents that exercise the powers including executive orders and laws. Instead, it will be limited to situations where several copies of a document need to be signed, and only after Trump review them individually and approve each example. Scharf said, “The President should individually involve the approval of all the documents carrying his signature personally. We cannot allow ambiguity in the cases of the Executive Authority.”

For kitchen utensils for sports memorbilia, used for forgiveness

Reports have claimed that autopane in Biden administration has not only been used for important documents such as Dr. Forgiveness issued to Anthony Faussi or Liz Chenny, but also for everything from kitchen pots to sports memorabilia.
The debate around autopain use is not new. While the Department of Justice had previously considered legally valid, previous presidents have adopted different views. George W. Bush avoided using it, while Barack Obama used it in 2013 for select documents including a major expense bill. Biden’s dependence on autopane has been reported, however, a fresh investigation, which promotes concerns on the transparency and authenticity of the President’s signature.
