And the mystery temple and Shivling of Kashi is the Tilbhandeshwar Shivling. It is believed that this Shivling grows every single day, not much, but the size of a ‘til’ or sesame. According to reports, temple priests, and devotees, the Shivling grows in diameter everyday, as small as the size of a sesame seed, and thus the name came to ‘Tilbhandeshwar’.
It is also one of the oldest temples of Lord Shiva in Varanasi, and just like every Shivling in that holy land, this one too possesses a certain energy.
