Munford High School in Tennessee was closed on Thursday after a staff member was found dead inside a classroom.
Before the school day began, officers from the Police Department rushed to Munford High School in response to an “emergency situation.”
According to Daily Mail, chief Randal Baskin asserted: “This morning, before the start of the school day, Munford Police Department responded to an emergency situation at Munford High School.”
“The situation has been contained, and all students and staff are safe. The school will remain closed for the day while our officers continue their investigation,” he continued.
“We want to assure parents, students, and the community that there is no ongoing threat. Additional details will be provided as they become available,” he added.
