A 20 -year -old Sudik Konanki, a student of the University of Pittsburgh, missing from his holiday in the Republic of Dominican, made two payments on the Venomo app that gives a renewed clue to the investigators. The disappearance was initially considered a case of drowning, but the parents of Konanki insisted that the search should be widened for him and now the police is also investigating the angle of a dishonest game. The last person who was seen with Konanki, Joshua Reebe claimed that he pulled him from drowning in the rough sea water, but could not tell the police what happened after that.
Two payments made in a interval of one hour
The first payment was made on March 5 at 2.54 pm to an anonymous new user. Konanki used a census emoji to describe it. The second was built at 3.38 pm and the description was Koco Bongo which is a famous nightclub in Punta Canda. This second payment trip was one of Konanki’s friends, Ananya Chilkamarai.
‘Last time I saw him, I asked if he was fine’
Joshua Reebe said that he had tequila shots with his friends and was going into the sea with Konanki and was swept away. He said that he fought with waves and reached the shore with Konanki but then slept. “Last time I saw him, I asked if he was fine.” I did not hear his answer because I started vomiting all the sea water which I swallowed. After vomiting, I looked around and did not see anyone. I felt that he grabbed his things and left. I felt really bad and tired. I lay on a beach chair and slept as I could not go away. Then I woke up due to the bite of the sun and the mosquito. I went to my friend’s room to get my phone, and then I went to my room to sleep, ”he said.
Reebe said he met Konanki when he and his friend introduced themselves to him and his friends. He admitted that they were kissing in water when a wave crashed into them.
“It took a long time to get him out; it was difficult. I was a lifeguard in a pool, not in the sea. I kept trying to breathe him, but it did not allow me to breathe all the time, and I swallowed a lot of water. I could lose consciousness many times, ”he continued. “When I finally reached the ground on the beach, I pulled him in front of me. Then she went to collect her belongings, because the sea went to us. She was not out of water, because it was up to our knees. She was running at an angle in water. ,
After that, he said that he never saw him. “My friend asked me if I know where the girl was. I told her that she thought she had gone to her room, and she told me that she never returned, ”he said.
