Senate voted to carry forward the GOP funding bill, cleared the way to stop a government shutdown

The Senate Republican on Friday cleared the way for a final vote to stop a government shutdown with a small band of Democrats to carry forward the Stopgap Funding Bill.

Bill approved a major procedural obstacle on 62–38 votes, including 10 Democrats all but one Republican in the voting in favor. Sixty votes were required to cross a philibuster.

The vote came after a dramatic 48 hours, during which the Senate Minority Leaders broke with Chak Shumar, DNY., Most of the houses and Senate Democrats, announcing that he would support moving on the bill one day when he announced that he did not have votes.

The Senate is now expected to give a final vote on the six -month funding extension on Friday, where President Donald Trump’s signature requires a simple majority before President Donald Trump is headed. “I will vote to keep the government open. I believe this is the best way to reduce the loss to the American people. Clearly, it is a hobbon choice; CR is a bad bill. But the worse CR is, I believe that Donald Trump is allowed to take even more power through a government’s shutdown,” said Surar.

Cortez Masteo echoed Shumar, saying that a shutdown would place thousands of federal workers on unpaid furls and hand over to Trump and provide more strength to federal agencies.

“A government shutdown would be disastrous for American people. It would force tens of Nevada military personnel, union members, law enforcement agents and nurses to work without salary,” Cortage Masto said in a statement. “The final government cost the US economy cost $ 11 billion and thousands of hardworking Americans.
