Satwiksairaj Rankreddy, Chirag Shetty all enter the second round

“Kudos is for him, he is a strong-wisdom person who is to come out of it, and keeps it all aside, because his father wanted to do him. I am proud to be his partner.” The 7th seeded pair will take China’s Hao Naan Jhi and We Han Zeng in the next Thursday.

Among other matches involving Indian players, Laxman Sen will face Indonesia’s Jonatan Christie, while Malavika Bannod takes the third seed Akane Yamaguchi, a two -time world champion of Japan, a two -time world champion.

Malavika first surprised Singapore’s Yo Jia Min in her first match in the prestigious tournament.

World No. 9 TRISA Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand, who reached the back-to-back semi-finals at the event, will meet the eighth seed Korean pair’s high Jiang Kim and Yong Kong.

Rohan Kapoor and Ruthvika Shivani will be square against the fifth seeded Chinese pair of Gaaded Yan Ze Feng and Yes Shin Wei.
