Poco F7 Pro, F7 Ultra tied up to watch global launch on 27 March



The Poco F7 series is expected to be unveiled in select global markets soon. The company is designed to organize a global launch event at the end of this month, where the lineup is expected to be introduced. The launch is asked to include Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra variants, which are asked to share the same features as Vanilla Redmi K80 and K80 Pro respectively. Previous reports claimed that Pro and Ultra options of the Poco F7 series would never be unveiled in India soon.

Poco F7 series global launch (expected)

A global launch event will be held on 27 March, where Poco will unveil the F7 series for Techxpert (@tx_tech_xpert) claims. Another post by Tipster Abhishek Yadav shows that the global launch will include Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra variants.

Earlier, both Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra were seen on certification and benchmarking websites. They are expected to offer specifications similar to the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro respectively. The Redmi K80 series was introduced in China in November 2024.

Poco F7 Pro is expected to be paired with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, Android 15- Based Hyperos 2.0, and NFC connectivity. It can pack 5,830mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support. The handset is expected to sports a 6.67-inch QHD+ (1,440 x 3,200 pixels) OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit.

Poco F7 Ultra with model number Xiaomi 24122RKCC7G was recently seen on the Geekbench AI platform. Snapdragon 8 Elite is expected to obtain SOC with the support of 16 GB RAM. The phone will ship with Android 15 with Hyperos 2.0 Skin. The handset can carry a 50-megapixel triple rear camera unit with a telephoto shooter. This can be a 6,000mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging support.

The standard Poco F7 variant may not be included in the high-end handset, but has been tipped to launch in India with a “special version” model. The phone is expected to have similar features as Redmi Turbo 4. In particular, the global version of the base Poco F7 handset with model number 25053PC47G appeared on the first European Economic Community (EEC) database, which suggests its adjacent launch in select European markets.
