Opra Winfrey Name as Latest Book Club Selection as “The Tail”

Opra Winfrey announced “Tell” As his latest book club selection during an appearance on “CBS Morning” by Amy Griffin on Tuesday.

Griffin’s memoir shows how to keep a mystery can be ashamed and how to reveal those mysteries can be empowered. The book described Griffin’s experience by a teacher with childhood sexual abuse, the trauma he had suppressed for years.

“This book is going to help so many other people, especially those who have faced any kind of sexual abuse or any kind of shame, appeared for themselves,” Winfrey said.

Griffin described the memoir as a long process, but said it was “free”. He explained that he had built “walls and palaces and mats” in his life, thinking that he would keep him safe, but was liberated through sharing his story.

“When you find out that vulnerability is actually the power you have … it has changed a lot in my life, in every form in my relationships,” Griffin said.

Winfrey, who revealed that she was raped at the age of 9 and was tampered with till the age of 14, was associated with Griffin’s visit, given how many women try to maintain perfection by hiding the trauma.

“When you live in this right environment, you don’t want to accept yourself something wrong,” Winfrey said.

Griffin explained how her children helped her recognize her that she needs to address her past, remembering her daughter, “Mother, you are here, but you are not really here.”

Although Griffin took legal action against his addicts, he emphasized that the true resolution came through his own treatment process.

“This is not his story,” said Griffin.

“Tell” now on sale.
