The Oppo F29 5G series will soon be introduced in India. The lineup will include standard Oppo F29 5G and Oppo F29 Pro 5G. Many leaked specifications about Oppo F29 handset were recently surfaced online. However, the company has now announced the launch date of the phone and confirmed their key features, color options and details of availability. The upcoming Oppo F29 5G series is claimed to come up with a sustainable build. In particular, the old Oppo F27 5G was unveiled in the country in August 2024.

The Oppo F29 5G series will be launched in IST at 12 noon on March 20, the company confirmed in an X post. This phone will be available to buy in the country through Amazon, Flipkart and Oppo India e-store. The base Oppo F29 5G glacier will come in blue and solid purple color options, while the Pro variants will be introduced in white colors of granite black and marble, the company confirmed in a press release.

The company claims that Oppo F29 5G and F29 Pro 5G are “sustainable champions”. The phone will have a 360-degree armor body and a military-grade MIL-STD-810H-2022 certification. The series has been tested by SGS in India and claimed to have met IP66, IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. Phone sponges come with bionic cushioning, raised corner design cover, lens protection ring and aerospace-grade aluminum alloy internal frames.
One of the Oppo F29 5G series handset will have 7.55 mm slim profile and weight will be 180G. The lineup will support underwater photography. The Pro variant will pack a 6,000mAh battery with 80W Supercoke charging support.
An old leak claimed that Oppo F29 Pro 5G is priced at Rs. 25,000 in India. The handset has been touched to enter 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage variants. This is expected to be a MediaTek Dimenses 7300 SoC with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 onboard storage support.
