Archaeologists in the Judian Desert have detected a “mysterious pyramid -shaped structure” behind 2,200 years.
The withdrawal was a joint mission between the Israeli Antix Authority Authority (IAA) and the Ministry of Excavation of Heritage.
According to a joint press release, the structure is tied when the Tolameies and Celebs ruled Israel.

IAA Excavation Director Matan Toledano, Dr. Eaton Klein and Amir Ganore said, “What we have here is one of the richest and most complicated archaeological excavations found in the Judian Desert.”

The structure is made of hand -made stones with each stone weight hundreds of pounds.

“We still don’t know what the purpose of the building was,” said the evacuation directors.
The structure is believed to have a guard tower, a serious marker or even an ancient monument.

According to Tourist Israel, the Judian desert is about 800 meters above the deceased Sea and is a rock desert, characterized by cutting several wadies through the stone.
The ancient provided new information, changing the historical record of the site.
“Unlike the previous hypotheses, which blamed this structure first for the period of the temple, it seems that it was later created – during the helenistic period – when the land of Israel was under a tolemic rule,” said in the release.

Elie Eskidido, director of IAA, said, “The Judian Desert Survey is one of the most important archaeological functions done so far in the history of Israel.”
