Vaughan was one of the nominated players in the infamous Mitchell report, which was in 2007 using steroids and performing drugs in baseball.
In the case of von, the report found evidence that he bought HGH in 2001, on three different occasions – one year he did not play chasing a dishonest ball after his left ankle and knee injuries.

Two years after Vaughan’s final game, MLB did not ban HGH until 2005. He closed his career with New York Mets in 2003 after a 27-game tenure with the team.
Among his head, Vaughan was one of the most frightened power hits in the league, with his best season in 1995, MVP campaign with Boston Red Sox. He mashed 39 Homer with a League-Agni 126 RBI while slashing .300/.388/.575 with .963 OPS.

In the next season, Vaughan hit a .326/.420/.583 with 143 OPS.
Eight years later with Red Sox, where he hit 230 out of his 328 career homes, Vauan spent two seasons with Los Angeles Angels from 1999–2000 before that injury in 2001, which wiped him out for the whole year.
Vaughan joined Mets in 2002, playing 139 games with 72 RBI to kill .259 with a .259 batting average.
