New Delhi: Former England captain Michael Vaughan has praised India’s extraordinary bench strength after his historic ICC Champions Trophy victory over New Zealand on Sunday.
Taking X (East Twitter), Vauan suggested that even a second-string Indian side could reach the final.
“Jaiswal, Verma, Sharma, Sky, Pant, Reddy, Sundar, Chahal, Arshdeep, Bumrah and Bishnoi… This team must have made it an IMO along with the final. The strength in Indian cricket in the White-Ball is far from the scale, ”he wrote.

Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, India won a record third champions trophy title with an innocent run through the tournament, winning a four-width in a stressful final.
Rohit’s official 76 off 83 balls set a tone in a chase of 252 runs, as India hovering into the house with an over.
Vaughan’s comments come in view of remarkable stability in India’s forms, and highlight the incredible depth of talent in Indian cricket.
