A fashion show in Kashmir has come into fire for the characteristic of “porn” organizations during the holy month of Ramadan, which is pulling a broad backlash from religious, political and social circles. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah strongly condemned the incident and demanded a report within 24 hours.

The show hosted by designers Duo Shivan and Narash took place on March 7 at the famous Ski Resort in Gulmarg to mark its 15th anniversary in the fashion industry. Although its time and content triggers outrage, critics accused of disregarding local cultural and religious sentiments.

Omar Abdullah called the incident “complete disregard for local sensitivity during the holy month”. Religious leaders and politicians equally voiced their rejection, which further increased the dispute around the show.

All the designer pair about “Shivan and Narash”

The fashion show in Gularg, Jammu and Kashmir presented the cycle range of designers Shivan Bhatiya and Narash Kukreja. Art prints appeared from the brand archives in the encyclopaedia collection, including sculpture ski suits, statement ski septs, UID appr-si dresses, and winter layers for women and men.

Shivan Bhatiya earned a degree of Bachelor of Design from NIFT, Delhi, and Estituto Europeo dea design obtained a master’s degree in the same field. Meanwhile, Narash Kukreja, the other co-founder of ‘Shivan and Narashesh’, did his schooling in modern school. He also graduated from NIFT, Delhi, and obtained a master in luxury and marketing degrees from Istituto Europeo DI design.

According to his Instagram profile, the collection of Shivan and Narash is available in DLF Emporio in New Delhi, Kalgoda in Mumbai, Banjara Hills in Hyderabad and Embassy Chamber -5 in Bangalore.

His Instagram account features 2.29 thousand followers and provides a link to the official website www.shivanandnarresh.com. LAKME launched in India in 2010 with Fashion Week, specializes in brand Holiday, Cruise, Resort, Beach, Swimwear, Accessories and Celebration Wear.

According to LinkedIn details, Shivan and Narash are India’s first luxury holiday brand which was launched in the ear. It further claims that it is the first Indian brand to show Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim 2012 in Miami and also to participate in the Swimwear Association of Florida, Florida.

The Pan-India brand located in New Delhi is worn by many Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, Dita Vauan Tej, Nikki Minaz, Padma Lakshmi, Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Sonam Kapoor, and Shilpa Shetty.
