Judge who runs for the state Supreme Court defends low punishment for Bal Molester

Visconsin Supreme Court candidate Susan Crawford, a George Soros-backed Liberal, defended his decision to reduce a punishment for a convicted child molester, who repeatedly assaulted a five-year-old girl, in the 2020 case on Wednesday night during a hot debate against the conservative candidate Brad Shimel.

The only debate for the high court seat race before the April 1 election was conducted by ABC affiliated Visn 12 at Markwate University Law School. The winners of the race will determine whether the Orthodox or liberal state will control the High Court of the state, as Justice is expected to listen to matters related to abortion, gender identity and power behind the labor unions.

During a debate segment, where the candidates were asked about the multi-mill-dollar advertisements, they criticized each other’s judicial records, a judge criticized a Judge at the Crawford-Den County Circuit Court-a controversial sexual harassment case was interrogated by the model, in which he had heard a five-year girl.

“In 2020, you sentenced a child sexual criminal to four years in jail after requesting 10 prosecution. Do you regret that sentence?” The moderator asked Crawford.

“I do not regret that sentence, because I followed the law in that case, as I always do,” Cronford replied. “I enforced the law, which says that judges have to consider every relevant factor in sentencing, you have to consider both stimulating and reduced factors, and the Supreme Court said that you have to order minimal prison time that you believe that you believe that I have to protect the public. What I did in that case and every other case.”

“And my goal is to always protect the community. And there are sentences that have been successful, they have kept the community safe,” he said. “Brad Shimel repeatedly entered into the punishment of small jail sentence, where people have gone to commit new crimes, when you know the sentence has failed.”

The model then asked Shimel about his record of delay in testing of thousands of sexual assault kits-a central focus of Crophered’s campaign advertisements against him as the then Attorney General.

“Some advertising people have seen about you, Judge Shimel, nine rape kit tested as Attorney General in your first two years. Do you regret it?” The moderator asked.

Shimel, who currently serves as a judge in the Wukesh County Circuit Court, used his answer time to firing shots on Crawford’s decision in a child sexual harassment case.

“My opponent only revealed the problem in his decision that, in weighing all factors, giving minimal time to a dangerous criminal, protecting the community is overweight,” Shimel said. “That’s what he has just appeared.”

“It’s not what I said,” said Crawford. “The court needs to order you the necessary punishment to protect the community, and this is what I have done, and this is what those sentences have done.”
