Hegseth Spacex Shares Message to Rescue Mission Crew: ‘Wise You Godspeed’


SpaceX and NASA on Wednesday scrubbed the planned rocket launch of crew -10 for the International Space Station (ISS) due to a hydraulic issue with one of the ground systems, according to officials, live broadcast of the incident.

NASA and SpaceX will get their next opportunity to send rocket into space when the launch window opens at 7:25 pm on Thursday.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared a message of support for NASA’s SpaceX Crew -10 before its launch on Wednesday, highlighting the leading role of the US Army in the mission.

“I just want to take a brief moment to say that we are praying for you,” Hegseth said in a video posted to X. “We wish you Godded, and we are ready to welcome you all soon.”

NASA’s SpaceX Crew -10 has been slated to launch from the Kennedy Space Center at 7:48 pm on Wednesday. The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will take the crew of four in the ISS for a six -month residence. The Mission Barry “Butch” is ready to enter the much -awaited homecoming of Wilmor and Sun. Williams.

“Now, the Defense Department is proud of several branches and two active-duty American military officers who represent the mission that is shutting down between NASA and SpaceX tonight. Nevertheless, US Army Colonel Anne McClane and US Air Force head Nicole Aires,” said Hegseth. “So this army, air force and Navy are tonight.”

In addition to McClane and Airte, Crew -10 consists of an astronaut from Japan and one from Russia.
