Holi 2025: Muhurat

According to the Drink Panchang, Holika Dahan will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, while the colorful festival will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025.

The full moon date (full moon phase) begins on 13 March 2025 at 10:35 pm and ends on March 14, 2025 at 12:23 pm. Alaik Dahan Murat, auspicious time to burn the bonfire, will be from 13 March to 12:19 am on March 14 at 11:26 am, which will run for about 53 minutes.

It is necessary to avoid the period of Bhadra during Holika Dahan, which is from 06:57 am to 08:14 pm (Bhadra Pancha) and 08:14 am to 10:22 pm (Bhadra Mukha), as these times are considered unfit for bonfire light.

Holi 2025: Recipes

Gujiya: A classic Holi Sweet, Gujiya is a deep pastry filled with sweet khoya (solid) and dried fruit, which is dust with powder sugar.

Thandai: A fresh, milk-based beverage made with almonds, cardamom, saffron, and a sign of rose water. You can also add cannabis to an authentic Holi twist.

Dahi Bhalla: Soaked in yogurt in lentil pakoras, tangi tumps with tamarind chutney and garnishes with sev and fresh coriander leaves.
