“Ghosts” star Rebecca Visoki on the plot twist and the success of the show

Hit CBS Comedy “Ghosts” star Rebecca Visoki discussed recently after being renewed for two more sessions after the surprising heritage revelation of her character and the continuous success of the show.

Visoki, who plays the ghost of the Victorian-era woman Hetty Woodstone, appeared to talk about a recent episode on “CBS Morning”, where her character has expressed disorders for those who have the Irish heritage, since the especially meaningful revelation of the discovery of her Irish heritage.

“This type of character is best when she attains her arrival, when she proves wrong,” said Visoki. “She performs a woodstone 180 on this one. It was her scary, to find out that she was Irish. And of course she has now hugged and has become a hiberofile.”

In a stunning turn, Visoki actually predicted the development of this story during the previous appearance on “CBS Morning”. When a clip of her earlier prediction was shown that “Hetty should be an Irish woman,” Visoki confirmed that she did not know it was actually coming.

“I didn’t do at all,” he said, praising writers for creating meaningful struggle for characters.

Asked about her specific outspoken performance as a hatty, Visoki explained, “I work in a music way. The way her voice is written and the way she changes her mind in the middle of the rhythm and the way she changes her mind in the middle of a sentence, it seemed clear that it would be a voice that will go to all these different places.”

During the interview, Visoki wore a meaningful Shemrock brooch, stating that this was the first gift that his father gave to his mother about 70 years ago.

“I think this is the first time I wore it,” she said.

“Ghosts” has become a rare success story in television, with CBS and Paramount+ recently renew it for two additional sessions. Visoki stated that he is grateful to the support of both network and fans.

“It is funny of laughter-outside, but you can have interesting, sensitive conversations about deep themes in the show, so we are proud of him,” said Visoki.

“Ghosts” aired on EST at 8:30 pm on CBS on Thursday.
