Dolly Parton on Friday recorded her first public presence after losing her husband of 59 years earlier this month.
Carl Dean died on 3 March. Despite their disadvantages, the country’s music legend surprised the guests at the Celebrity Theater of Dollywood in Tennessi’s pigeon forge, in honor of the 40th anniversary of the theme park.
“Of course I will always love her, and I would miss her, but I wanted you to know that I would always love you,” Parton said to the guests, according to 7news.

The partners also took to Instagram, shared a throbac photo of myself on a ferris wheel. “Hey @dollywood! Here 40 years are together,” she wrote, with a red heart emoji. “Drollywood officially opened for 2025 season today!”

The country star announced that her 82 -year -old husband died on Instagram in Nashville.
“Carl and I spent many amazing years together,” he wrote in a statement at that time. “The words cannot do justice to the love we shared for more than 60 years. Thank you for your prayers and sympathy.”
The country’s music star later shared the message of thanks.
“This is a love note for family, friends and fans,” Parton posted on Instagram. “My dear husband, thanks to all the messages, cards and flowers you sent to pay your honor for the loss of Carl. I can’t reach personally for each of you, but just know that it means the world for me.”

The dean will be placed to rest in a private ceremony with the immediate family in attendance.
Parton first met Dean In a laundromat when she was 18 years old and she was 21 years old. She married in 1966. He was rarely seen in favor of partners, but always played a strong supporting role in his life.
“He is always supporting me until I try to pull him on him,” Parton told people at his premiere in 2019 Netflix series, “Hartstrants of Dolly Parties.”

Parton’s husband served as an inspiration for one of the biggest hits of the country’s music star. Dean caught the eyes of a bank taylor in the 1970s, a leading partner to write “Jolen”. The tune begs another woman not to take her man and is actually a “an innocent” song, according to the country’s chronner.

“She found this terrible crush on my husband,” Parton told NPR in 2008. “And she preferred just to go to the bank because she paid her a lot of attention,” she said. “When I was saying, it was like a moving joke among us, ‘Hell, you are spending a lot of time in the bank. I don’t believe that we have received that kind of money.” So it is actually an innocent song all around, but looks like a terrible. ,
