Bank holiday for Holi 2025: Bank Holi in different states will inspect the closure during 2025, in which specific dates by the region are different. According to the Guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), a few days are named as holidays under the perfect instruments Act. These holidays are determined on the basis of local traditions and customs.

Holi Bank Holidays: 13 and 14 March, 2025

For Holika Dahan on March 13, 2025, the bank will be closed in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand.
“Holika Dahan” represents an important Hindu festival, which translates to “burning of Holika”. This traditional bonfire ceremony takes place before the main Holi festival in the evening.
On March 14, 2025, Banks will not work in many states to include the bank Gujarat, Orissa, Chandigarh, Sikkim, Assam, Hyderabad (AP and Telangana), Arunachal Pradesh, Rajasthan Jammu, Bengal, Maharashtra, New Deli, Goa, Bihar, Bihar, Bihar, Bihar, Chhatrata, Meghel, Meghel, Meghe.

March 15 (Saturday) – Second day of Holi/Yasang

Banks will work in most states on March 15, 2025, which is the third Saturday, which is a working day. However, banks in Tripura, Orissa, Bihar, Jharkhand and Manipur will remain closed on this date as per RBI website.

According to the RBI guidelines, banks are closed on all Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays of every month.
