For his share, Johnson confirmed in an interview on Fox News on Friday that he was interacting with House Freedom Caucus on the conviction for Green.
“I spoke to members of Freedom Caucus and other Republicans, who are deeply concerned about this,” Johnson described “Outtanbird”. “They say that we have to restore control in one or the other way and need to have real results, and this is something we will see in the beginning of the next week.”
Green currently works at the House Financial Services Committee, where it is the top Democrat on the subcommittee for the oversight.
