This year as a prestigious win, Laxman shared an emotional post on platform x, which “a win to cherish for a lifetime”.
Considering the historical victory, Laxman wrote: “24 years ago, a win to cherish a lifetime, an amazing team’s attempt and a great life example of never giving up, it may seem how impossible it can sound ever now. A full privilege is a part and to contribute to this very special victory.”

2001 in Kolkata test Garden of Eden Test is considered one of the biggest return in cricket history. Beller 0–1 in the three-test series, India found itself strictly in a strict straightforward after leaving for 171 in response to a total of 445 of Australia’s first innings. It was forced to follow, India moved to a crushed defeat.
