Republican Congressman Chak Edwards, RNC, on Thursday night a Town Hall meeting was faced by angry components about the widespread cuts in the government of President Donald Trump and Elon Musk.
“How do you cut the employees of veterans helping VAs, especially long -term care of people,” asked an ingredient, which met with a permanent ovavation from the hoarse crowd in Ashville, North Carolina.
“So first, there is no cut to employees in VA as this point. Whether or not, Elon Musk brought a lot of smart people, ”Edwards replied because she met with a round. Earlier this month, an internal VA Memo indicated that the agency was preparing to lay 80,000 from its workforce.
The conversation became so controversial and hostile that Edwards had to get out of the building.
“You don’t find us to do that,” shouted another component.
The Republican leadership has asked its members to avoid the in-Persen Town Hall after grilling several members in their home districts.
Edwards, however, went against his advice on Thursday.

“” You see a lot of advice in Washington, DC says to different people, you know, ‘Republican should not be in the city hall,’ and I am thinking why not? “I love people,” said Edwards.
The Trump administration is moving forward with widespread cuts with thousands of workers, which has already been closed in the federal workforce – including experienced cases, IRS and education departments.
Elon Musk divided with the White House this week, suggesting that eligibility programs such as Medicare and Social Security could be on the next chopping blocks.
Musk said earlier this week, “waste and fraud in the entitlement expenses, which belongs to all, which is the most of the federal expenses, so it is larger to finish.”
Those words have greatly worried some voters, Edwards on Thursday night raised the brunt of the attacks.
“What are you doing to ensure the safety of our social security benefits,” asked on the component for a round of applause.
