For stock market holiday Holi 2025: Stock Exchange, BSE and NSE in India will remain closed on Friday for Holi celebrations, resulting in an extended weekend between the recession in the market. Stock market holidays 2025
Trading activities will be suspended for 14 days throughout the year. There are three trading holidays in April: Mahavir Jayati (10 April), Ambedkar Jayati (14 April) and Good Friday (18 April).
Additional market bandes include Maharashtra Day (May 01), Independence Day (15 August), Ganesh Chaturthi (27 August), Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti/Dushar (02 October), Diwali (October 21), Diwali Balipratipada (22 October), Gurparb (November 05), (December 25).
Despite the market closure, a special Murat trade session will be held during Diwali. The specific time for this session will be announced later in the year.
