A retired FBI Special Agent shared his analysis and important steps investigators could seek a missing American college student who disappeared from a beach in the Republic of Dominican.
Jason Pack told Fox News Digital, “The FBI cannot handle the investigation, but will use diplomatic channels to prioritize dominnican authorities, provide forensic assistance and coordinate intelligence to intelligence.”
Pack, a retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent, FBI’s child kidnapping Rapid Payment Team leader and acting legal briefcase, explained how American authorities were working behind the curtains for assisting in search of a student of Pittsburgh, 20, Pitcbberg, who disappeared from a beach in Dominican Republic in the morning of March 6 in the morning.
Pack said, “Authorities must have cross-referenceing monitoring footage with phone data and banking transactions to identify their final known movements.” “They should use cognitive interview techniques on major witnesses to detect discrepancies rather than accepting surface-level statements.”

Pack said that there are “important investigative steps” that need to be now and FBI’s behavioral analysis unit (BAU) and forensic experts should take an important role.
“BAU profiles can help possible suspects, while FBI’s forensic teams can assist with DNA analysis, digital forensic and geolocation tracking; the resources that local authorities may not have their disposal,” Pack explained.
With regard to supporting the Konanki family, Pack says that the FBI’s aggrieved service division is already associated with the family, providing them to the discovery updates, guidance to deal with foreign law enforcement and support as they navigate the crisis.

Police said that Konanki, who is resident Loudon County, VirginiaDuring the school’s spring break, Panta traveled with five others from the University of Pittsburgh at Cana, which began on 2 March and ended on Sunday.
Dominican National Police said in a first statement that it was last seen on a monitoring camera along with five other people entering the beach at the five -star resort at the five -star resort.
The footage obtained by the noticeous Sin showed that Konanki looked clinging to a man and said that the group made its way towards the beach.
This was the last time the authorities tracked Konanki before the disappearance of a resident of Virginia.
Former FBI special agent and contributor of Fox News, Nicole Locker shared her analysis on Konanki’s discovery and said that what she thinks is the most important as an investigator, determining who she was last seen with.
Parker said that since investigators have a Konanki phone and wallet, they would be combing through all the information and would understand everything about the man he was seen for the last time.

In the ongoing investigation, the authorities have not named any suspect. On Tuesday, Dominican National Police said it was “interviewing targeted persons who were in proximity to the victim at the time of her disappearance.”
A joint investigation into the disappearance of Konanki is being conducted by the US Embassy at the Dominican Republic, Dominican National Police and Dominican Prosecutor Office. FBI Is also assisting.
