Police said that the disintegrated bodies of a woman and her two daughters were recovered from their residence in Molarband area of ​​south-east Delhi on Wednesday.

A senior police officer said that no note has been recovered from the spot.

“Forensic experts have examined the site. The official said the bodies have been sent for post -mortem to find out the cause of death.

A team from Badurpur police station informed the neighbors about the smell of dishonesty leaving the house, where 42 -year -old Pooja lived with her daughters, who was eight and 18 years old.

The team found the bodies on the floor.

“It appears that the bodies were four to five days old,” said Ravi Kumar Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South East).

He said that the investigation teams are investigating CCTV footage to know about the movements of family members in the last few days.

“It appears that Pooja’s husband worked as a driver in Gurugram. We are verifying all the facts, ”said DCP.

The official said that the police is investigating various angles including financial crisis.

He said that Pooja’s daughters were not going to school for the last few months.

‘No attack’

“The body is in a disintegrated state. Crime teams will go to the spot again to collect more evidence. No attack marks have been found on the dead bodies, ”Mr. Singh also said.

Residents of the area said that the family had not paid the rent for the past months.

The incident was called “tragic”, a neighbor, MP Yadav said, “Pooja was living here with her daughters for the last few years, during which we never saw her husband.”

Another resident, Satish Pal Pradhani said, “Somebody told us that Pooja’s husband had died some time ago.”
