For Mulvenni, the executive order does not change how she feels.

“I am a woman, whether my passport says. We are not hurting anyone,” she said. “We are less than 1% of the population. And the way they speak about us, it often happens as if we are taking cities like Godzila.”

“I now realize that it is life or death for a lot of people,” he said. “I want every trans person of this country to get an opportunity to flourish. And unfortunately, we are living at a time where it is very difficult to do so.”
