London – The US has picked up its freeze on intelligence sharing with Ukraine, President Donald Trump said on Sunday, as American and Ukrainian negotiaters prepare for bilateral talks in Saudi Arabia, aimed at moving towards a peace deal to end Russia’s three -year attack.
“Okay, we are just about,” Trump told reporters on one of the Air Force when asked if he would consider restoring intelligence sharing. “We want to do anything that we could be serious about Ukraine doing something,” he said.
Trump’s administration has climbed a dramatic axis away from the “Ironclad” of Ukraine practiced by the administration of former President Joe Biden.

The US delegation in Saudi Arabia will include State Secretary Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz. The Ukrainian team will be led by Zelansky’s President’s President Andrey Yarmak. The US side is expecting Ukraine to show the desire to make peace, Trump suggested on Sunday.
“We will see a lot of things,” he said. “We are having big meetings. As you know, it is Saudi Arabia that includes Russia. It will be Ukraine. We will see if we can do something.”
“I think everyone wants to see it,” said the President. “We are going to make a lot of progress.”
“I think they would sign the mineral deal,” Trump said when asked about progress on the controversial agreement. “I want them to want peace.” Trump claimed that Ukraine has not yet shown that wish.

Trump suggested in a post to Truth Social last week that he was “considering large -scale sanctions” and until Tariff on Russia is a deal, saying that Moscow “is’ faster” on the battlefield “on the battlefield.” Trump also told a joint session of the Congress that he had “strong signals” that Russia was ready to make peace.
Kremlin spokesman Dimitri Peskov said last week that the US-Ukraine talks in Saudi Arabia are a “positive” development, although insisting that there are unresolved “nuances”.
“The question is to whom to interact with?” Peskov told reporters. Russia has repeatedly implicated Zelansky as an illegitimate president, which is necessary by imposing martial law, citing delay in planning 2024 presidential elections in Ukraine.
Kremlin has also cited the September 2022 Ukrainian decree in which Zelansky announced a conversation with Putin, “Impossible”, when Moscow claimed to have partially obtained Ukrainian regions.
Meanwhile, both Russia and Ukraine are continuing their long -range missiles and drone strikes. The deadly weekend attacks by Russia condemned many European countries.
For example, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote on X, “This happens when someone pleases barbarity. More bombs, more aggression, more suffering.”
According to the Ukrainian Air Force on Sunday night, Russia launched 176 attack drones in Ukraine, 130 of which were shot and 42 were lost in flight without loss. The Air Force reported effects in Kharkiv, Poultwa and Kyiv areas.
Russia’s Ministry of Defense said that it shot Ukrainian drone overnight.
